Every year we try and head up north to my parents cabin over July 4th weekend. We all love going up there, we play games, drive up to International Falls, and try to get as much time on the boat as we possibly can. This year was a little different because we had 2 kiddos and a dog to bring up. Not only did we double the amount of things we had to bring, but this was Jack's first long trip! He did wonderful and we made it. We had a wonderful time like we always do and Jack was able to have a lot a firsts up at the Cabin. Lexie had so much fun and was able to do some fishing and tubing on the boat, which she loves.
Every year we have a tradition to all sit on the Kabetogama Walleye and take a picture, it is so cute!

Jack's first boat ride, it was definitely a challenge to find a life jacket that fit him, he didn't like it at first but got used to it by the end of the week.
